Gravity Falls fan art. Sculpted, retopologised, rigged and textured, with final renders in Unreal Engine 5.
An Overwatch-style character study. My sculpt, retopology, posing and textures; concept by Hicham Habchi.
Characters are my favourite, but I’m interested in where 3D can go: games, visualisation, real-time experiences and beyond. Open to freelance and remote conversations, too.
02 / THE HUMAN BEHIND THE PIXELS
I’m Charlie, from South Devon. I graduated in Computer Games Design with First Class Honours and received the TIGA Graduate of the Year award for Artist in 2023.
Since then, I’ve worked on game-ready 3D assets, made coffee in busy cafés, helped at live events and kept exploring how things work. I’m also building a path towards IT and cybersecurity, with a Level 2 qualification in the Principles of Cyber Security.
Outside work? Music, vintage cameras, retro tech and finding something interesting around the next corner. Ideally with a camera in hand.
MY TOOLBOX
3ds Max / ZBrush / Substance
Painter & Designer / Unreal Engine / Photoshop / Marmoset /
Marvelous Designer
Created game-ready assets, materials and textures using Substance Painter and Unreal Engine 5. Worked with a studio team, took feedback and delivered to deadlines.
Espresso-based drinks, busy service, payments and stock. Comfortable helping customers and keeping things moving as part of a team as well as leading a team.
Supported visitors at live events and helped Year 9 students create short films in a media workshop.
Completed a Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Cyber Security. Interested in entry-level IT support and security opportunities.
03 / A CHANGE OF SCENERY
The plan is to start in Melbourne, find my feet, meet good people and work along the way. Then explore more of the east coast - with a vintage camcorder coming along for the ride.
Creative neighbourhoods, cafés, live music and getting to know a new city properly.
3D and creative projects, IT support, or a great café team. I’d love to hear what you’re working on.
Make room for exploring, new faces and the moments worth catching on camera.
Open to freelance and remote conversations.
